Rob Scott is the founder and manager of independent record label Fly Music, a contemporary sub-label of ABC Music, one of the largest independent labels in the Australian record industry.
Fly Music has produced numerous development artists including, New York-based Australian recording artist Vassy, whose music has been featured on Greys Anatomy, Ugly Betty and been the US musical face of the Hilton Hotel group.
Rob has also helped establish the career of globe-trotting psychedelic rock act The Morning After Girls as well as Andy Clockwise, Endorphin, DJ Peril, Love Tattoo and current CMJ and Billboard charting electronic dance group Deepface who have recently signed to newly invigorated Strictly Rhythm Records in the US.
Rob was the Assistant Program Manager at national Australian radio network Triple J for over ten years. In this role he helped create triple j’s “Unearthed”, the seminal Australian music discovery program directly responsible for breaking the careers of artists such as Missy Higgins, Grinspoon and recent Youtube success story, the Sick Puppies.
